Local is the default.

QuotaForecast is a fully local Mac app. Trieflow LLC does not operate an account, analytics, advertising, or synchronization service for the app.

Data stored on your Mac

The app stores normalized usage observations, explicit plan rules, advisory budgets, task estimates, configured source identifiers, selected-folder bookmarks, and display preferences locally. User-supplied provider credentials are stored in Apple Keychain.

User-initiated connections

When you configure a direct provider source, QuotaForecast makes requests from your Mac to that provider using the credential you supply. Provider terms and privacy practices apply to those calls. File and folder access occurs only after you select an item through the system picker.

What the app avoids

QuotaForecast does not collect browser cookies, raw prompts or responses, advertising identifiers, precise location, contacts, diagnostics for Trieflow, or behavioral analytics. Demo Mode does not touch network, files, Keychain, or notifications.

Reports and deletion

Exports are created only when you request them and redact credentials, authorization headers, cookies, prompt and response fields, raw payloads, and absolute home paths by default. This version has no configurable retention schedule. You can erase the local workspace and app-owned Keychain items in Settings.
